Will XPRO fit my Toyota RAV4
XPRO is compatible with select 5th-generation Toyota RAV4 models, including the 2019–2024 RAV4 and the 2022 RAV4 Prime. It is designed only for vehicles with a rearview-mirror housing that does not have ventilation openings.
Because mirror housings may vary by trim and market, please compare your vehicle with the compatibility image before ordering. You may also send us a clear photo of the area behind your rearview mirror, and we will confirm the fit for you.
Is installation difficult? Do I need a professional?
No — installation is simple and non-destructive. You remove the original mirror base and seat the XPRO in its place. Will it damage my car or leave marks?
XPRO is designed for a non-destructive installation and should not leave permanent marks when installed and removed correctly.
Is it a single-channel (front-only) camera?
Yes, the XPRO is a single-lens front-facing dash cam, focused on capturing the road ahead in 4K.
Will parking mode drain my car battery?
XPRO features built-in low-voltage protection. If the vehicle battery voltage drops below 11.8V, the dash cam will automatically shut down to help prevent excessive battery drain.
Is GPS included?
GPS is optional. With the optional GPS module, every clip is stamped with your speed, route, and location — useful backup for insurance claims.
How does parking mode work? Do I need extra parts?
Parking mode is optional and requires a hardwire kit or OBD cable for continuous power. Once connected, the XPRO keeps watch 24/7 while your car is parked.
How do I connect it to my phone?
Download the AKEEYO app, tap Connect, and select your XPRO from your phone's WiFi list. Once paired over dual-band WiFi, you can live-view, download, and share footage right from your phone.
What memory card comes with the XPRO, and will my footage be overwritten?
The XPRO comes with a 64GB SD card included, and supports cards from 16GB up to 512GB. Beyond the included card, we recommend a high-speed, high-capacity card for best performance. The XPRO records on a loop, automatically overwriting the oldest unprotected clips — but any footage locked by the G-sensor (or saved to your phone) is protected from being overwritten.
Can it handle extreme heat and cold?
Yes. The XPRO is built for all seasons, operating reliably from -20°C to +70°C (-4°F to 158°F).
How is the footage quality at night?
Excellent. The XPRO uses a flagship Sony STARVIS 2 sensor with an F1.08 large aperture, so it stays clear in low light and harsh glare — helping preserve readable license plates and important road details across low-light and high-contrast conditions.
